Revival has been defined as simply "the act of bringing something back to life again by creating a renewed interest in something, often through a fresh presentation of something old."

Michael Cogley Ministries has been dedicated to revival for the last forty years, boldly proclaiming the message of redemption and deliverance through Christ at every opportunity. We have witnessed countless numbers of people come to the saving knowledge of Jesus, and untold miracles have followed the preaching of the Word!

Our world desperately needs an encounter with the Risen Savior; our churches need a fresh touch from heaven. Together, we can see God’s glory again – the Spirit of Revival is stirring again!!!

The ministry

Mike’s ministry crosses denominational boundaries and covers a span of over 30 years spent preaching the Lord's message.

The message

His message is grounded in the Biblical belief that the true God is made of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

To use every resource available to "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation." - Mark 16:15 (NIV)

What I Do

On a cold, snowy January evening in 1976, an event occurred that forever set the course for Mike’s life. Questioning God’s plan and purpose for his future, Mike preached what was to be, in his mind, his first, last, and only sermon. At the end of the service, he was asked to pray for a small child who was deaf in both ears. As he laid hands on this child and prayed, God performed a miracle, instantly restoring perfect hearing in both ears!

From this small beginning, Dr. Cogley has been used by God to take the Gospel to a lost and hurting world. He preaches a message full of faith and victory with an evident anointing – testimonies of the miraculous follow his ministry wherever he goes!

Mike, together with his wife Mary, have travelled as itinerant evangelists for years, ministering in churches, district camp meetings, and crusades. During that time he also hosted a weekly television program and had an international radio show that aired in 84 countries. Today, in addition to revival meetings, Mike is involved with the Plus or Minus 60 Television Ministry in Louisville, Ohio as well as his own international program, THE SPIRIT OF REVIVAL with Evangelist Michael Cogley, which airs weekly on The NOW Network, reaching into parts of the United States and 84 countries, going into parts of Europe, the Middle East and Africa. All told, Cogley’s ministry has a potential reach of some 725 million people!

Dr. Cogley believes in the local church. In addition to pioneering two churches, Mike and Mary have pastored churches in Virginia, Ohio and West Virginia. Today he and Mary are active members of Central Assembly of God in Houston, Pennsylvania, where Kurt Jenkins serves as Lead Pastor.

Honored as a “Notable Name in Evangelism for 1994” by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Mike is a powerful communicator who ministers with compassion and fervency, reminiscent of the early revivalists.
